Dr. Marlene Brito is a seasoned Strategist and Scholar-Practitioner with 20 years of experience driving organizational change and leading initiatives focused on equity, inclusion, and leadership development. Her professional journey spans the fashion, performing arts, and nonprofit sectors, as well as higher education. Over the past decade, Dr. Brito has coached hundreds of mid-career professionals through career transitions and provided expert guidance on program development and inclusion strategies.

Dr. Brito earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Metropolitan Studies from New York University in 2004 and a Master’s in Public Administration from the Baruch School of Public Affairs as a National Urban Fellow. She furthered her academic achievements with a Master of Philosophy in Education in 2021 and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies in 2024, completing her dissertation on the college-to-career transitions of Latinx first-generation college students.

In addition to her professional and scholarly pursuits, Dr. Brito is an adjunct faculty member at NYU, where she teaches courses on leadership development and applied career development.

A proud native of New York City, Dr. Brito lives with her daughter and son. In her free time, she enjoys exploring fashion trends, skincare, and fragrance.
